MAHA SHOBHA YATRA

The Nimajjanam, that is, the immersion of the Durga Mata Idol in a lake takes place via a grand procession through the lanes and main thoroughfare. The Grand Procession starts from Mandapam towards Victory Playground (VPG) via Television Hotel lane to Shivnath Sweet House to Esamia Bazar Circle Committee to Ramdas Temple to Electricity Office to Saibaba Temple and finally culminating at Victory Play Ground. The Procession shall be graced by BJP's Sri T. Raja Singh Lodhe, MLA, Goshamahal Constituency as Chief Guest. During Nimajjanam procession, prasadam is distributed to people all through the way who come to watch.

After the immersion, when the Idol gets dissolve, people collect the remains of clay and keep it at their homes believing it brings prosperity and wealth to them. Sarees of Durga Mata Idol are auctioned where large people participate to buy them.

Sri Nava Durga Navaratri Utsav Samiti earnestly pray to Maa Durga Maata to continue to shower HER Blessings on the Utsav Samiti headed by Gulab Srinivas Gangaputra and give HIM the needed Strength and Resources, Grace and Wisdom to keep the Navaratri Celebrations to go on for years to come. Because these Navaratri Celebrations not only bring blessings, peace and prosperity to Shri Gulab Srinivas and family but to the lakhs and lakhs of devotees who keenly and lovingly take part in these Navaratri Utsavams.
